The vaccinations aimed at students and the community around the Islamic boarding school were attended by the Head of the Sampang Police, AKBP Abdul Hafidz S.IK, M.Si along with the Sampang Police PJU, the chairman of the PMII East Java Branch Coordinator Management (PKC) Abdul Ghoni and the chairman of the PMII Sampang Branch Management Abdul Aziz.
Dozens of health workers from Urkes Sampang Police and Kedundung Health Center served as vaccinators in the PMII Vaccine Gebyar activity and the East Java Police at the Miftahut Thullab Islamic Boarding School Gedangan Kedundung.
As a form of appreciation, the Sampang Police have prepared 1500 bags of @5Kg rice to be given to students and the public who have received the Covid-19 vaccine.
In addition to carrying out vaccinations at the Miftahut Thullab Gedangan Islamic Boarding School, Kedundung District, the East Java Police and PMII PKC East Java also held
The PMII Vaccine Festival and the East Java Police at the Nazathut Thullab Prajjan Islamic Boarding School, Camplong District, Sampang Regency, East Java.
From the two activities, it is targeted that 1500 students and the community around the Islamic boarding school will receive the Covid-19 vaccination.
The caretaker of the Miftahut Thullab Islamic boarding school Gedangan KH. Zainal Abidin in his speech thanked the government, especially the ranks of the task force who had carried out the Covid-19 vaccination at the Islamic boarding school in Gedangan Hamlet, Daleman Village, Kedundung Sampang District.
KH. Zainal Abidin told invited guests and all vaccination participants that Ponpes Miftahut Thullab had carried out 4 vaccinations and as many as 500 students had been vaccinated against Covid-19.
"And thank God, until now the students who have been vaccinated have not experienced any problems. In fact, the vaccines received by the students greatly increase the health of the students," said KH. Zainal Abidin.
Sampang Police Chief AKBP Abdul Hafidz S.IK, M.Si in his speech also thanked the chairman of the PMII East Java Branch Coordinator Management (PKC) Abdul Ghoni and all its members for caring about public health, especially the health of the Islamic boarding school environment.
AKBP Abdul Hafidz S.IK, M.Si said that in handling and controlling the Covid-19 pandemic as well as accelerating herd immunity, synergy and cooperation from all elements of society were needed.
Chairman of the PMII East Java Branch Coordinator Management (PKC) Abdul Ghoni in his speech said the reason for holding the Covid-19 vaccination at Islamic boarding schools was because the average member was students who were on campuses.
"Today we came here to protect Islamic boarding schools from Covid-19 by collaborating with the East Java Regional Police, so thank you to all those who have collaborated with PMII in fighting Covid-19," explained Abdul Ghoni, chairman of the East Java PMII PKC.
