The departure of the Bhabinkamtibmas to distribute 5,000 red and white flags and social services for residents affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in the context of the 76th Dirgahayu of the Republic of Indonesia, was carried out at the Sidoarjo Police Headquarters, Monday (16/8/2021) by the Sidoarjo Police Chief Kombes Pol. Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro.
According to the Sidoarjo Police Chief, the distribution of 5,000 red and white flags and the simultaneous independence social service was aimed at growing people's sense of love for the country, and inflaming the spirit of the 76th independence of the Republic of Indonesia in the midst of a pandemic. "We previously obtained this red and white flag by buying from MSME actors, as well as flag sellers in our area. This effort is to help revive the economy of these business actors, to support the national economic recovery program," explained Sidoarjo Police Chief Kombes Pol. Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro.
He also advised his members and the public to continue to comply with health protocols, when carrying out activities outside the home that have a risk of spreading Covid-19. "With the spirit of nationalism, hopefully we can all get through this pandemic and the social assistance can be useful," he added.
