"So for all my children. Those who have aspirations to become TNI, aspire to become Generals. Together we know that there are two generals here, Mr. Pangdam V Brawijaya, and Mr. Pak Kasko Fleet two," he said.
"Then those who aspire to be a police officer with us here are Mr. Kapolda Timur, Mr. Inspector General of Police Nico Afinta, and Mr. Kabinda of East Java are also stars," said the Governor in front of the students of SMAN 2 Surabaya.
Everyone wants to be a part of encouraging the acceleration of vaccination in the youth category, aged 12 to 17 years.
"We hope that when there is an acceleration of vaccination in high schools, vocational schools, which are under the coordination of the provincial government, of course this is the stage of the face-to-face learning process that will be able to start in a limited and gradual way, if the PPKM is level 3, let alone can be level 2, " he said.
Furthermore, Khofifah said that this is all a process, and please continue to follow the learning process that is currently running, which is still being done online, but maybe we are doing exercises to do face-to-face learning in stages and is limited.
"Indeed, this is an area where the East Java Police Chief is part of the SMADA (SMA 2 Surabaya) big family. Of course he wants that enthusiasm to flow to all students and all teachers, especially parents, and everyone present here. I want to hear strategic thoughts and extraordinary enthusiasm from him, especially in the 76th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia," added the Governor of East Java.
East Java Police Chief Inspector General Nico Afinta, who was also an alumni of SMAN 2 Surabaya in 1989, was also present while conducting a vaccination review.
"I am proud to have studied here, I graduated in 89 and I am also proud that on the anniversary of SMAN 2 we also held vaccinations here, so that we can vaccinate all, later with the government's decision, we can learn face-to-face," he said.
The East Java Police Chief also motivates SMAN 2 students, to always remember 3 things, which is abbreviated as MANTAP which means Faith, Willingness and Knowledge.
"I want to convey three things. The first three things are provisions for our progress. The first provision is Faith, whatever we as humans must have strong faith. Because that is the key to our ability, the key to a human's journey in his faith," invite him.
"So brothers and sisters, please worship according to your religion, which is Islam, pray, Christians go to church or Hindus go to temples, strengthen faith, after strengthening faith, strengthen will, we must have a strong will to achieve our goals. Then the third is knowledge. Knowledge is important to solve problems," he added.
Therefore, the East Java Regional Police Chief instills in SMAN 2 students that they must have a steady heart, to achieve their goals, because in the future science will really help us when working later to solve problems.
"But the problem is not solved without science, but if we have knowledge, not solving the problem will also be in vain," said the East Java Police Chief.
The Kapolda hopes that all students in East Java, especially SMAN 2, have the knowledge and work so that later they can be useful for the community itself.
"I'm sure that the graduates of SMAN 2 will definitely become useful people. Again, the spirit of the brothers, hang on to your dreams, we need to go up the mountain to struggle. We will see the top of the mountain, if we can be sure that we will get there. faith, will, and knowledge," he concluded when he visited his school where he used to be.
The activity continued with the symbolic handing over of social assistance in the form of medical devices to the principal, teacher representatives and students of SMAN 2 Surabaya by Forkopimda Jatim.
