Sigit revealed, with the role of youth being the frontline in handling the Covid-19 Pandemic, the optimism for the formation of Herd Immunity against the corona virus could be realized around August to September.
"So our target is at the end of the year or by August, September, Herd Immunity can be realized immediately," said Sigit in his review.
Along with the achievement of the Government's target of realizing group immunity, the former Banten Police Chief emphasized that the wheels of the community's economy that had been hampered by the pandemic would soon be able to rise or recover.
"Then the community is expected to be able to return to carrying out their activities so that the economic recovery can run well," said the former Police Criminal Investigation Officer.
The optimism of Herd Immunity will soon be realized, according to Sigit, also seen from the high enthusiasm of the vaccination participants for the category of children aged 12 years and over.
"Today, vaccination activities were carried out for children aged 12 years and over from junior high school, high school, and also elementary school children who can already be vaccinated. Of course we see that children are enthusiastic about being vaccinated. This is good news for all of us, "said the former Head of the National Police Propam Division.
Meanwhile, Sigit hopes that this mass vaccination collaboration can continue to all regions in Indonesia. Remembering, synergy, cooperation and hand in hand between groups are the keys in handling the Covid-19 Pandemic.
"I hope this activity can continue in several areas that we will continue to collaborate with, right, so that efforts to accelerate vaccines in the context of forming Herd Immunity are certainly waiting for us so that people's lives can slowly return to normal. Of course we hope this is all can be achieved soon," said Sigit.
Not to forget, Sigit again socialized to all vaccine participants about the importance of maintaining discipline in maintaining health protocols, even though they have received vaccination injections.
It is known, in the mass vaccination activity at SMA Negeri 38 organized by PB HMI, the target is one thousand people per day. Held for two days from 15-16 July 2021.
The vaccinator officers involved in this activity were 13 vaccinators consisting of 5 vaccinators from the National Police and 8 vaccinators from HMI. In this activity, the committee also presented the hashtag #remajaambilperan, with the aim of making the youth mass vaccination successful.
Meanwhile, the PB SEMMI mass vaccination which was held at Indraprasta University targeted one thousand people per day who were injected with the vaccine. The vaccinator officers involved in the activity were 15 vaccinators from the Biddokkes Polda Metro Jaya.
