Implementing 100 Days Priority Program General Listyo Sigit, Public Relations of the National Police Held Creative Content Training

JAKARTA— As a follow-up to the 100-day priority program of the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the National Police's Public Relations Division is holding creative content training for PR personnel throughout Indonesia.

Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General of Police Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, in his written statement said that the training which collaborated with LKBN Antara was expected that all Polri Public Relations personnel would be able to prepare, process and present creative information content.

"So that Kamtibmas can be built through education and socialization around the law which is packaged attractively in every official social media content belonging to the National Police," said Raden Argo, Monday (15/3/21).

Furthermore, Raden Argo explained that the National Police as the protector, protector and servant of the community, is required to always adapt in the era of social media like today.

For this reason, the National Police continues to strive to avoid all forms of social problems such as posts that trigger contradictions in society such as slander, hate speech and hoaxes.

The number of social media users such as Tiktok, Instagram, TV streaming and Youtube is the task of the Police to ensure that all information content circulating is not negative.

According to Raden Argo, content circulating on the platform is easier to go viral, and is trusted by its users.

"If viral content is good information, it will contribute to Kamtibmas, otherwise it will certainly increase the workload of the National Police in the field," said Raden Argo.

The Head of the Police Public Relations Division also added that the readiness of personnel who can prepare, process and present creative information content is deemed necessary in order to penetrate positive information through social media and conventional media.

"Advances in technology need to be balanced with a deep understanding of the identity of the National Police and the ability of information technology," concluded this Senior Police Officer who was born in Sleman, Yogyakarta.
