Polri Adds Quota for Indigenous Papuan Men, 396 Police Join Officer Schools

JAKARTA - National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, through the National Police HR Assistant, has given an additional quota for non-commissioned officers who are native Papuans to attend officer school.

 Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General of Police Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, explained that based on a letter from the National Police Headquarters Human Resources, the Papua Police received an additional quota of 77 people and the West Papua Regional Police received 150 people.

 So that a total of 246 Papuan Regional Police Officers who attended the Police Inspector School (SIP) education force 50 in 2021 were 246 people and 150 West Papua Police.

 Ijen Pol Raden Argo explained that the prospective students who were Papua Police Officers consisted of Indigenous Papuans (OAP) and these newcomers had followed the selection stage.

 "From the administrative examination to the end of the Individual Work Script Examination (NKP) it has been declared to have passed the election," explained Raden Argo in Jakarta, Saturday (13/3/21).

 Furthermore, Raden Argo also said that the non-commissioned officers who passed would attend the Police Inspector School (SIP) in Sukabumi for 7 months.

 "For Native Papuan National Police who participate in the selection and are declared to have passed, they will attend the Police Inspector School (SIP) in Sukabumi for 7 months," concluded this High Police Officer who was born in Sleman, Yogyakarta.
