Targeting Tengger Residents, Probolinggo Police Educating Health Care Facilities and Distributing Masks on Bromo Tourism

BromoToday.com - Probolinggo - Probolinggo Police are continuously conducting health protocol education actions, one of which is the Probolinggo Police distributing free masks to the perch community, on Jalan Wonotoro, Sukapura District, Probolinggo Regency, Saturday (13/2/2021).

 Probolinggo Police Chief, AKBP Ferdy Irawan, through the Probolinggo Police Traffic Unit, AKP Purwanto Sigit, told BromoToday.com, that the distribution of free masks took place on Jalan Wonotoro Village, Sukapura District. This activity is an effort to break the chain of spreading Covid-19 in the Probolinggo Regency area.

 "In addition to the distribution of masks, the officers also socialized the importance of implementing health protocols (prokes) and New Habit Adaptation (AKB). We appeal to the public to reduce mobility and stay away from crowds," said AKP Purwanto Sigit.

 According to him, the Police of Probolinggo are constantly holding outreach in order to urge the public to improve personal hygiene and the environment and always implement 3M, namely wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining distance.

 "We hope that this activity can increase public awareness in implementing health protocols in their daily activities," he concluded.
