Probolinggo Police Chief Monitors Hundreds of ABK and Fishermen of Probolinggo Participate in Independent Semeru Floating Vaccination

Probolinggo - Hundreds of crew members and fishermen took part in the Merdeka Floating vaccination organized by the Probolinggo Water Police Unit, Thursday (12/8/2021).

 They participated in the vaccination movement which was held to celebrate the 76th Independence Day (HUT) of the Republic of Indonesia by the local Resort Police.

 In this activity, in collaboration with health workers and district government officials, the Probolinggo Water Police Unit also distributes social assistance for each crew member and fishermen.

 According to the Probolinggo Police Chief, AKBP Teuku Arsya Gaddafi, crew members and fishermen also have the same right to be vaccinated and receive social assistance during the current PPKM.

 That's why in vaccination using the Sinovac vaccine, his party deliberately picked up the ball or visited the crew and fishermen from ship to ship to be vaccinated at the Floating Vaccine Outlet that had been prepared.

 "Today, there are around 176 crew members and fishermen participating in the Merdeka Semeru Floating Vaccination," he said.

 In addition to visiting from ship to ship, the Probolinggo Police also prepared a floating vaccine booth in the yard area of ​​the Probolinggo Police Water Unit.

 The Probolinggo Police Chief admitted that the simultaneous vaccination in all ranks of the East Java Police was carried out as one of the strategies in accelerating vaccination.

 So that the goal of establishing herd immunity can be achieved.

 "Once again, this aims to establish herd immunity and prevent crew and fishermen from being exposed to the dangers of being exposed to Covid-19," said the Probolinggo Police Chief.

 The Probolinggo Police Chief explained that so far his party has also held vaccinations at various points. In fact, door-to-door vaccinations have also been carried out.
