The basic food assistance in the form of rice was distributed by the Jombang Police Chief accompanied by Main Officials on Tuesday (10/8/2021). The symbolic handover to the labor union of 100 packages received by the Chairperson of the DPC Sarbumusi Jombang, Mulyono Lutfi, at his office in Ngesong Hamlet, Sengon Village, Jombang.
Meanwhile, as many as 50 packages for traditional art workers were received by the Chairman of the MRJ Presidium, Nur Jadab at his Basecamp, Sambongdukuh Village, Jombang. The delivery of social assistance by implementing strict health protocols to prevent the spread of the corona virus.
According to the Jombang Police Chief, traditional arts workers and workers are one of the communities affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Their income decreased because no jobs were accepted during the implementation of emergency PPKM and Level 4 PPKM.
"It is hoped that the food package assistance will be useful and ease the burden on their economic needs and their families a little," said the Jombang Police Chief, Wednesday (11/8/2021).
The Police Chief invites the entire community to follow the vaccine to avoid the covid 19 virus and continue to comply with and implement health protocols (prokes) in daily life.
"I urge all people to follow vaccines and implement health protocols. Because we have to keep ourselves safe, not to infect or get infected, therefore health protocols must continue to be implemented," he said.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Presidium of the Jombang People's Assembly (MRJ) Nur Jadab, who oversees traditional art workers, expressed his gratitude and pleasure to receive food packages from the Jombang Police. In fact, he said it was the first time he had received such assistance.
“This is the first time we have received food packages. Thank you very much to the Chief of Police for helping us. May Allah reward him," he said.
