The Bojonegoro Police Chief, AKBP EG Pandia said that the implementation of the Emergency PPKM on the second day of the joint officers taking action by sealing the police lines at the fifteen places had violated the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs number 15 of 2021 concerning Emergency PPKM on the pointers for the implementation of eating/drinking activities in public places, whether located in at separate locations or those located in shopping centers/malls only accept delivery/take away and do not accept dine-in in addition to not implementing strict health protocols. "The TNI-Polri and related agencies have previously carried out large-scale patrols with warnings or socialization that Emergency PPKM will be applied. According to the media crew, joint officers carried out large-scale patrols in four points, namely areas within Bojonegoro City, Kapas District, Dander District and Kalitidu District.
In this large-scale patrol, joint officers combed all roads within Bojonegoro City and the sub-district axis road. Joint officers also take action against residents who do not use masks by doing tiping based on East Java Provincial Regulation No. 2 of 2020 concerning the amendment of the East Java Provincial Regulation No. 1 of 2019 concerning the implementation of peace, public order and community protection, Article 49 jo 20a and Article 27c.
AKBP EG Pandia added that during this large-scale patrol, a café in the Kalitidu sub-district was crowded with visitors eating on the spot, the café was closed with a police line.
"For the time being, this cafe is closed with a police line because it does not heed the government's regulation of the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs number 15 of 2021 concerning Emergency PPKM on the pointer for the implementation of eating/drinking activities only accepting delivery/take away and not accepting dine-in.
