The vaccination was followed by mass organizations, NGOs, security guards and health workers. One by one, they went to the screening post and continued to inject the vaccine.
The event was attended by the Head of the Probolinggo Police, AKBP Teuku Arsya Gaddafi, Deputy Regent of Probolinggo, Timbul Prihanjoko, Kodim 0820 Lieutenant Colonel Inf, Imam Wibowo and Chairman of the DPRD Probolinggo Regency, Andi Suryanto Wibowo.
The Police also took the time to distribute social assistance in the form of rice to vaccination participants and was given symbolically by Muspida.
AKBP Teuku Arsya Gaddafi said the Probolinggo Police continued to promote vaccination for the people of Probolinggo Regency. In addition, this activity (simultaneous vaccination and distribution of social assistance) was also accompanied by the activities of vaccination participants and recipients of social assistance raising and flying the red and white flag to welcome the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day.
"We have prepared vaccine booths at every Polsek and monitored by every Puskesmas in Probolinggo Regency. In addition, we will also carry out door to door vaccinations for people who cannot afford to visit vaccine outlets. This is also a collaborative effort from Forkopimda to realize Probolinggo towards Indonesia is strong," said the police chief.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Regent advised the public to continue implementing health protocols to help suppress the transmission of Covid-19 in Probolinggo Regency.
"I also urge the public not to share hoax news related to this vaccine. Many people are afraid of being vaccinated because of the hoax news. Let's together implement the prokes to prevent the transmission of Covid-19," he appealed.
In Probolinggo Regency alone, there are still 52,000 doses of vaccine ready to be injected into the community in the context of accelerating the handling of Covid-19.
