This was conveyed by Sigit when giving briefings to 700 TNI-Polri Capaja virtually at Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Wednesday (7/7/2021).
"The synergy and solidity of the TNI-Polri must always be maintained and strengthened at all levels, from the top leadership to the lowest levels, wherever and whenever. Solidarity and synergy between the TNI-Polri is a fixed price and is the main capital in realizing an Advanced Indonesia and Indonesia Gold 2045," said Sigit.
Sigit said that the TNI-Polri are state institutions that have gone through a long historical journey, starting from independence to the reform era. As the next generation, Sigit asks all Capaja to never forget history in order to continue the work of the TNI-Polri struggle in Indonesia.
According to the former Banten Police Chief, despite the long history of the institution, the TNI-Polri are still a unit whose job is to protect and safeguard the entire Indonesian nation.
"Even though they have been separated, in essence the TNI and Polri are still one unit, as the front guard in protecting the entire Indonesian nation and all of Indonesia's bloodshed," said the former Police Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit
Currently, said Sigit, the role of the TNI-Polri is also needed by the state and society in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in Indonesia. Both institutions are at the forefront of dealing with the corona virus.
Sigit also hopes that the TNI-Polri Capaja will be ready to face all forms of challenges and threats as well as disturbances to security and public order that arise from global and national.
"Understand the challenges of an increasingly complex and uncertain task," said Sigit.
Meanwhile, Sigit asked all Capaja to pay attention to all attitudes and behavior. Given, according to Sigit, if you act arrogance and deviate, then it will have an impact on the two institutions.
"Be a role model for members in the field. Get used to living a simple and not hedonistic behavior. Fortify yourself from the dangers of drugs, and western culture that is not in accordance with the noble values of Pancasila. Maintain the professionalism of the TNI-Polri, by prioritizing the interests of the nation and state in for personal or group interests," said Sigit.
Not to forget, Sigit congratulated hundreds of TNI-Polri Capaja in 2021. He said that the community, nation and state were waiting for the Dharma Bhakti of these Capaja.
