Agus also stated to all his staff to oversee and secure the absorption of capital expenditures in the provinces, regencies and cities.
According to him, in handling the Covid-19 pandemic, there are still many provinces who are hesitant to absorb the budget and capital expenditures. Therefore, he asked the Criminal Investigation Department to be really wise in handling cases related to this matter.
"If there is a slight error so that it is handled wisely, the most important thing is that the state's economy revolves around the budget that it can be fully absorbed. Monitoring and securing this budget absorption can work with Forkopimda and Ministries/Institutions," said Agus.
The National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, said Agus had instructed regional heads to not hesitate to absorb the budget. Thus, the National Economic Recovery (PEN), social assistance, and MSMEs and Village funds can be maximized. Not only that, in this case, the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) must also be put forward.
"The National Police Chief has opened the widest possible space for regional officials in the region to file complaints. If there are colleagues who commit criminalization, Propam will investigate," said Agus.
Agus asked all Regional Police Chiefs to coordinate with Kajati, BPKP and BPK representatives and other stakeholders, in order to provide assistance and assistance to all expenditures and social assistance in the regions.
On the other hand, the National Police Chief, according to Agus, has emphasized to all members of the police not to be arrogant to the public.
"Don't let the actions we take are counter-productive to government policies. We ask the ranks to remind all lines not to be arrogant to the community. For example in Solo, which uses regional languages and is more persuasive," said Agus.

Then, Agus asked his staff to check every day regarding the distribution and availability of drugs and oxygen.
Related to this, Agus emphasized the question of checking the availability of drugs and oxygen with a minimum of three days or better one week ahead of reserves or stocks available to the public. Therefore, it is necessary to increase inter-regional coordination for this readiness.
