East Java Police Chief Inspector General Nico Afinta together with East Java Deputy Chief of Police Brigadier General Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo accompanied by East Java Police Chief Officials, released the door to door distribution of qurban meat at the East Java Police Headquarters.
The East Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Nico Afinta said 38 cows and 12 goats were slaughtered through designated slaughterhouses (RPH).
"We based the circular letter from the Minister of Religion and the circular letter from the Governor of East Java regarding the implementation of takbir and Eid prayers, running safely and in an orderly manner. The slaughter of sacrificial animals is carried out at RPH or those that have been determined," he said.
"Then for the East Java Police themselves this year, 38 cows and 12 goats are sacrificed. The target of distributing this qurban meat is distributed to people in need, especially people affected by the implementation of emergency PPKM," he explained.
The officers who carry out the distribution of qurban meat are Bhabinkamtibmas assisted by members of the traffic police, both from the Regional Police and carried out at the Resort Police and Polsek.
The Regional Police Chief added that the existence of the National Police along with the East Java Provincial Government and Kodam V/Brawijaya wanted to help the community to get through this difficult situation, we must work together. So the Police, Provincial Government and Kodam together with the community can work together in line to deal with this covid.
"Let's together take our respective parts according to what we can do. And to the community, please obey by implementing 5M," he added.
Furthermore, the East Java Police Chief likens Covid-19 to a bullet that is still whistling around us. This bullet knows no rank, age of office, our background, if we are careless we will be hit.
"Anyone can get this disease if we are careless, but as long as we obey the prokes we will be safe. Therefore, let's also carry out the prokes both at home and wherever we are. Currently PPKM is implemented in order to regulate this, save the community "Obviously
