The addition of the new HCU and ICU rooms has 6 levels of 3 floors, namely 3,4,5 floors, providing 200 bed capacities. the level is and intensive per unit.
After checking the addition and readiness of the ICU, Forkopimda continued to greet the health workers who were in various areas virtually, in the Lokawidya room of RSUD Dr. Soetomo.
"We together with Forkopimda are checking, God willing, tomorrow it can be used, there is a parking building that was prepared for some time ago to provide services. There are qualifications for High Care Unit (HCU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU)," said the Governor of East Java after say hello to the maids.
The Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa said, the addition of the ICU and HCU rooms is planned to be used tomorrow, for HCU services.
"What we saw earlier, God willing, tomorrow we will be able to start services for the High Care Unit," said the Governor of East Java accompanied by the East Java Police Chief, Pangdam V Brawijaya, Pangkoarmada II and East Java Kabinda.
In addition, Khofifah explained that all Forkopimda will never stop trying to build the widest possible synergy to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Our solidarity within the East Java Forkopimda is part of the evidence that we want to provide protection and safety for the people of East Java with all the energy we can maximize," he admitted.
"We also want to convey that friends, especially what we have previously conveyed to doctors who are specialized, especially pulmonary and internal medicine, they also have to work extra hard to provide the best service," he added.
The governor also added that they continue to work on handling COVID-19 from upstream to downstream, one of which is curative services, the upstream of which includes the implementation of the 5M prokes and vaccinations.
"All strategic elements in East Java have maximized vaccination tremendously. We maximize vaccination services that are curative in nature, we also maximize, hopefully all in line with efforts to save and protect the people of East Java," concluded the Governor of East Java.
