Jombang Police Chief AKBP Agung Setyo Nugroho said this activity was a form of the Police's concern for the community in the Jombang Regency area who is currently facing mobility restrictions or emergency PPKM so that the community is affected.
"The Bhabinkamtibmas will later distribute a package of basic food rice containing 5 kg to their assisted residents who are underprivileged and affected by the emergency PPKM. Please convey this social assistance to the right people, God willing, it will bring rewards for all of us," said the Chief of Police when handing the social assistance symbolically to Bhabinkamtibmas at the Jombang Police Headquarters page.
After handing over the aid through Bhabinkamtibmas, the Police Chief also went directly to distribute rice to the community along Jalan KH. Wakhid Hasyim (around the Jombang Police Headquarters). He said that the distribution of social assistance in the form of rice was a form of the Police's concern for the community.
"As many as 1,050 residents of Jombang Regency received assistance today, we hope that this social assistance is right on target for people in need and hopefully it helps a little to ease the economic burden during this pandemic," he said.
The Police Chief added, Besides enforcing the emergency PPKM regulations, we also carried out humanitarian activities in the form of distributing basic necessities. He also appealed to the public to continue to comply with the Emergency PPKM rules and health protocols by running the 5 M and staying positive during this pandemic," he concluded.
