Preventing the Spread of Covid-19, East Java Police Deploy Troops in Bangkalan Red Zone

The East Java Police have deployed troops from various Work Units (Satker), to increase public awareness regarding the spread of Covid-19 in Bangkalan district, especially in 4 sub-districts that are included in the red zone category.

 Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Pol Gatot Repli Handoko said the East Java Police had carried out various activities in 4 red zone sub-districts in Bangkalan district, including Bangkalan, Arosbaya, Klampis, and Geger sub-districts.

 As the East Java Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas) did, they have carried out patrols and Public Addresses, by appealing to the public to comply with health protocols, in order to stop the spread of Covid-19, in the Arosbaya sub-district.

 "Traffic Heroes carry out preemptive and preventive activities in the field of traffic, as well as distribute basic necessities, masks and hand sanitizers in Arosbaya sub-district," said Kombes Gatot, on Tuesday (9/6/2021).

 "Members of Brimob also carry out patrols in 4 red zone sub-districts, optimize the function of Micro PPKM, and create a conducive Kamtibmas situation," he added.

 Meanwhile, the Binmas Unit of the East Java Police also distributed 194 packages of basic food rice to underprivileged residents, and an appeal for the implementation of health care programs with 5M Wear masks,
 Wash hands, Keep distance, Stay away from crowds, and Reduce mobility.

 "We continue to carry out this activity, as an effort to prevent Covid-19 in Bangkalan, especially in the 4 red zone sub-districts," concluded the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Pol Gatot Repli Handoko.

 Making flyers distributed on social media related to the Covid 19 cluster in Bangkalan Regency and making statements from religious leaders, community leaders, mosque takmirs, as well as flyers for creating conditions have been blasted by the ranks, supported by the East Java Public Relations Bid.

 Testing and Vaccination were carried out in 2 of the 4 sub-districts that became the center of concentration, namely Arusbaya and Klampis sub-districts.

 In Arusbaya sub-district, the number of people who carried out antigen swab was 114 people, the result was 17 reactive people and 97 non-reactive people. 80 packages of basic food assistance and 50 boxes of Instant noodles.

 For the Klampis sub-district, 30 people carried out antigen swabs, with 5 reactive and 25 non-reactive results. For 100 packages of basic food assistance and 50 boxes of instant noodles.
