The LHPLK was handed over directly by Member I of the RI BPK for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Hendra Susanto to the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo at Rupatama, Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Tuesday (29/6/2021).
Thus, congratulations for eight years in a row from 2013 to 2020, the National Police managed to win WTP from the BPK.
The National Police Chief said that the Bhayangkara Corps was always committed to managing and accounting for state money as well as possible.
"This achievement must be maintained and continuously improved in order to realize accountability and transparency in the management of state finances," said Sigit in a written statement, Tuesday (29/6/2021).
Meanwhile, Hendra Susanto said that the WTP given was not a gift from the BPK, but the Police's compliance in managing and upholding accountability. "This opinion is not a gift from the BPK but as a form of compliance with the Police in managing state finances," said Hendra.
BPK, he said, did not find any significant problems that had an impact on the fairness of the presentation of financial statements. The audit consists of a financial audit, a performance audit and an audit with a specific purpose.
The main purpose of auditing financial statements is to provide an opinion which is the auditor's professional opinion on the fairness of the information presented in the financial statements with a number of criteria.
