The mass vaccination is carried out to applicants for payment of vehicle tax extension or 5-year license plate replacement. For people who have been vaccinated, it is enough to show a certificate.
"This activity will be carried out on an ongoing basis to support the Government's program in order to accelerate the implementation of vaccinations throughout Indonesia to prevent the spread of Covid-19," said AKBP Rahman.
The police chief from Banyuwangi said that the implementation of vaccination at the Samsat KB is not only for applicants for vehicle tax extensions but for the general public who want to be vaccinated, they can also register for free. This policy is also implemented at the Sumenep Police Sim Satpas for people who want to apply for a driving license (SIM),” Rahman Wijaya added.
The purpose of the mass vaccination held by the Sumenep Police is as a form of Precision Police Transformation to support the acceleration of handling COVID-19 for healthy communities and national economic recovery towards Advanced Indonesia.
"Even though holding mass vaccinations, we still follow health protocols. All vaccination participants are required to wear masks because we all must always be vigilant," said AKBP Rahman.
