At least, 86 cases were successfully uncovered, 54 were revealed by the Narcotics Unit of the Tulungagung Police and 32 cases were revealed by the ranks of the Sector Police.
Unmitigated, in the 86 cases revealed during the period January to June 2021, the Narcotics Unit of the Tulungagung Police together with the Sector Police of the ranks, succeeded in arresting 104 men of drug abuse, of which 9 suspects were recidivist.
Of the 104 suspects, 70 were arrested by the Narcotics Unit of the Tulungagung Police with details, 66 male suspects and 4 female suspects.
Meanwhile, the ranks of the Sector Police arrested 34 suspects with details, 31 male suspects and 3 female suspects.

"The overall evidence that was secured from all the suspects was 338.42 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 2 Inex Pills, 160 grams of marijuana, 726 Alprazolam pills, 60,549 Double L Pills, 569 packs of Stelan Pills from various brands, 97 bottles of alcohol. Ciu type, 2 ciu liquor jury, 2 bottles of Red Wine, Rp. 12,027,000 cash, 49 glass pipettes, 16 scales, 93 mobile phones, 37 bongs, 14 motorcycles and 1 Suzuki Pick Up car. white color," explained AKBP Handono
While the articles that have been pinned to each suspect include Article 114 Sub-Article 112 UURI No. 35 Th. 2009 Regarding Narcotics, Article 111 paragraph (1) UURI No. 35 Th. 2009 concerning Narcotics, Article 197 Sub-Article 196 UURI No.36 Regarding Health, Article 62 UURI No. 5 of 1997 concerning Psychotropics, Article 142 of UURI No. 18 of 2012 concerning Food and Article 62 paragraph (1) Jo Article 8 paragraph (1) letter g and i UURI NO. 8 of 1999 concerning consumer protection.
"Every article that is ensnared against a suspect is adjusted to the role of the perpetrators. Almost all of the suspects arrested are dealers, while the 9 perpetrators who are recidivist will most likely get an additional period of detention," added the Police Chief.
The commitment to eradicate narcotics trafficking will continue to be promoted by the Tulungagung Police through its Narcotics Unit and the Jajajaran Police.
