In the midst of the momentum of the 75th Bhayangkara Day, the National Police Headquarters also gave a gift to Indonesia by realizing the target of one million vaccinations a day for the creation of a healthy society towards a developed Indonesia.
In this case, the National Police and 34 Polda became the first institutions to hold mass vaccinations with a target of more than 1 million. Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also carried out a direct review of the activities initiated by the National Police at Bhayangkara Square, South Jakarta, on June 26, 2021.
"To meet the target of 1 million people per day, we need to accelerate the vaccination program with proper organization," said Sigit in a written statement, Jakarta, Sunday (27/6/2021).
The target was achieved in accordance with the theme of this year's Bhayangkara Day, namely 'Precise Police Transformation Supports Acceleration of Covid-19 Handling for Healthy Communities and National Economic Recovery Towards Advanced Indonesia'.
As a form of transparency to the public, the National Police has prepared a Highlight Dashboard related to the vaccination which can be accessed at https://serbuanvacasinasi.polri.go.id/highlight. A total of 1,285,460 have been observed to have been vaccinated.
The public can see in real time the total number of people who have been vaccinated. Also, which province has the lowest and highest number of vaccines.
In order to create accountable data, the National Police also collaborated with the Director General of P2P (Disease Prevention and Control) of the Indonesian Ministry of Health to monitor the number of Covid-19 vaccinations. So far, according to the agency's calculations, at least 1,285,353 people have been injected with the vaccine.
Not only that, the National Police also involved the Covid-19 Handling Committee and National Economic Recovery (PC-PEN) in calculating vaccinations.
From the dashboard, it was recorded that 1,301,663 have been vaccinated.
Sigit added, to continue to maintain the trend of one million vaccines a day, a number of strategies have been prepared. Among them are, each province prepares at least three vaccination centers in the province, Bidokkes, Bhayangkara Hospital and the Regional Police Headquarters. For province

"Forming 12 vaccinator areas prepared by the National Police as additional vaccinator personnel in the context of assisting 1,600 personnel in national vaccination activities," said Sigit.
