They can become teachers, can become religious teachers, confidant friends and so on, ”said Sigit when launching the Binmas Online System (BOS) application at the PTIK Polri Building, South Jakarta, Wednesday (5/5/2021).
The launch of this application is a commitment and strengthening of the Police Chief of Police's precision (Predictive, Responsibility and Transparency) policing program. The BOS application itself is under the ranks of the Baharkam Polri Community Development Corps (Korbinmas). The program can also be used for internal and external Polri or for the general public. "Through this application, Bhabinkamtibmas can help initial information to the public in getting information and sharing," said Sigit.
The former Kabareskrim explained that the internal use of the BOS application was to make reports related to the activities of Bhabinkamtibmas which is the front line of the police in the community line. "So that all existing information can be reported to the center and then put together in one Big Data system," said Sigit.
This BOS application also strengthens Precision policing related to Predictive. The reason is, it can take advantage of Artificial Intelligence so that it can prevent or anticipate all forms of disturbance to security and public order (kamtibmas). "Of course we hope to be more supportive in the effort to implement the Predictive policing program," said the former Banten Police Chief.
With the launch of this application, Sigit said, in the future there will be integration with other Ministries / State Institutions so that integrated services will be created. "Of course this will make it easier for the public to get services without bothering to attend the police station. Even though we have ordered all members to go down to the community to continue to provide the best service," said Sigit.
