Probolinggo Police Distributes 200 Aid Packages to Flood Victims in NTT.

Probolinggo, The Probolinggo Resor Police, sent 200 packages or one truck for aid packages for victims of the flash flood disaster in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The assistance was in the form of blankets, towels and other toiletries.

 The aid package, was released directly by the Head of Probolinggo Police, AKBP Ferdy Irawan, to the East Java Regional Police Headquarters. After that, it will be distributed to locations of natural disasters in NTT.

 "In total, there are 200 packages sent by the Probolinggo Police, using one truck and the gathering point at the East Java Regional Police Headquarters," explained the Head of Probolinggo Police, AKBP Ferdy Irawan, Tuesday (6/4/2021) afternoon.

 According to him, the assistance provided was in the form of toiletries that were collected in a cardboard box bearing the words Polres Probolinggo.

 "We pray that the people affected by the disaster will be given the strength to be able to go through difficult times at this time," he said.

 As is known, the high intensity rain since Sunday (4/4/2021) has caused four sub-districts, namely Kambera, Pandawai, Karera and Wulawujelu Districts to have been affected by flooding due to overflowing rivers in the area.

 “This natural disaster is happening beyond our control. Hopefully all of our brothers and sisters in Flores, NTT Province, will remain patient and endure in facing this ordeal, while all of us must be knocked together to overcome this calamity, "concluded the Police Chief.
