East Java Regional Police and ranks to destroy hundreds of kilograms of various types of drugs

The East Java Regional Police and the Rank Polres at the East Java Regional Police destroyed hundreds of kilos of various types of narcotics resulting from case disclosure from January to March 2021, Monday (12/4/2021). Of the hundreds of kilos, some of them are evidence obtained from the disclosure of cases in the Pondok Pesantren environment.

 During 3 months there were 1,800 cases with 2,205 suspects. With details from the East Java Regional Police Ditresnakoba 190 cases, and 223 suspects. Meanwhile, from the Polres ranks 1,610 cases and 1,982 suspects.

 "Of the 1800s we have revealed that there are 15 cases (in Islamic boarding schools), it is less than 1 percent, but our hope is absolutely zero, nothing," said the Head of East Java Regional Police, Inspector General Pol Nico Afinta.

 "We even got this information from the leadership of the Pesantren who hoped that the National Police would crack down on anyone who put drugs into the Islamic boarding school," he added.

 The evidence that was destroyed was 17.5 kg Sabu, 86,407 list G of hard drugs, 13,704 bottles of liquor. From this evidence, the evidence obtained from the Islamic boarding school is 9.42 grams of gorilla tobacco, 117.8 grams of methamphetamine, 90 pills bearing the yellow DMP logo, 10,000 pills of white Y Logo and 2,110 pills of trex medicine.

 Also attending were religious leaders, including the Chairperson of the East Java MUI, represented by the MUI secretary KH. Hasan Ubaidilah. Chairman of the East Java PWNU, as well as caretaker of the Malang Sabilurrosyad Islamic boarding school, KH. Marzuqi Mustamar. Chairman of PW Muhammadiyah East Java, Dr. Saad Ibrahim. Caregiver of the Bumi Sholawat Islamic Boarding School, KH. Agus Ali Mashuri. Chairman of the DPW Ansor East Java, H.M. Ridwan Mahfudz. Chairman of DPW LDII East Java, Moch. Amrodji.  The East Java Regional Police Chief is committed to fighting drug trafficking. He hopes that it can increase synergy in fighting drugs.

 "Hopefully with this activity all people in East Java together with us are ready to face the drug war. Get rid of drugs from East Java," he concluded.
