The inauguration was marked by the signing of the inscription and cutting the ribbon by the Probolinggo Police Chief, AKBP Ferdy Irawan.
AKBP Ferdy Irawan said that the construction of the mosque, which took quite a short time, was expected to increase the faith and devotion of its personnel.
"The Al-Firdaus Mosque has been built and has stood majestically. We hope that the members of the Gading Police, especially those who are Muslims, will continue to increase their faith and devotion to Allah SWT," he explained, as told by reporters, Tuesday (6/4).
According to him, the inauguration of the Al - Firdaus Mosque was also a form of gratitude in welcoming the holy month of Ramadan 2021.
"Moreover, we will face the holy month of Ramadan, so we will immediately use this mosque for the implementation of our worship activities in the holy month of Ramadan until the implementation of the holidays later," he said.
He also hopes that in the future all community and religious leaders will be united in maintaining and caring for and prospering the mosque.
"We are not in the context of competing to build a magnificent mosque, then after the mosque is completed it is built only as a symbol, but how can we prosper the mosque by carrying out obligatory worship and sunnah and carrying out other religious activities," he concluded.
