National Police Chief Observes Implementation of Phase II Covid-19 Vaccination 36,292 West Java Police Personnel

BANDUNG - The National Police Chief, General Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo, directly reviewed the implementation of the Phase II Covid-19 vaccination in the ranks of the West Java Police (West Java). The vaccination was given to 36,292 ranks of the West Java Regional Police, consisting of members of the National Police, Civil Servants, Polri freelance daily employees and media crews.

Sigit hopes that with the Covid-19 phase II vaccination, police personnel will have good immunity. Given, the ranks of the Bhayangkara Corps are at the forefront of breaking the chain of the spread of the corona virus.

"So that members immediately carry out the second vaccine so that members have immunity to protect the body and can carry out their duties properly as the front guard," said Sigit while reviewing phase II of the Covid-19 vaccination at the West Java Regional Police, Bandung, Tuesday (16/3/2021 ).

Sigit said, after vaccination stages I and II were carried out, based on the results of the evaluation it was known that the West Java region was free from the red zone of the spread of the corona virus.

"The results of the evaluation are significant and become our motivation to continue to oversee. The jabar area has shifted a lot and the red zone is gone and PPKM Mikro can be done at the RW level," said Sigit.

With these positive results, Sigit appealed to the need for increased synergy between the TNI-Polri in carrying out this national vaccination. So, it can be carried out optimally well.

"Providing additional training for health workers by utilizing midwives and mantri or nurses who already have the ability to inject," said Sigit.
