On this day Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at around 02.30 WIB at Jalan Drs. Moh Hatta, Pendem Village, Junrejo Subdistrict, Batu City, Aipda Tony Rudianto, who suspected the two people were the perpetrators of the crime, tried to secure both of them and the vehicle used as a means of committing the crime.
However, the two suspected perpetrators tried to fight back and fled towards the rice fields and there was a chase with officers.
In the chase, Aipda Tony Rudianto managed to secure one of the perpetrators.

When Aipda Tony Rudianto conducted a body search, the Bondet (fish bomb) exploded resulting in injuries to his left hand and left leg.
Meanwhile, the perpetrator with the initials AA died at the scene of being hit by the Bondet (Fish Bomb) explosion he was carrying.
Hearing the heroic action of his members, the Head of the Batu Police, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Catur Police, C Wibowo, SIK, MH, admitted that he really appreciated the courage of one of his members in arresting the perpetrator of the crime who was troubling the community.

Meanwhile, Kasat Reskrim Batu Polres AKP Jeifson Sitorus said that what its members do has become their duty as the police in protecting and protecting the community.
