PPKM Mikro extension starts on March 9, 2021 (today) until March 22, 2021.
The extension is in accordance with the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs 5/2021 concerning the Extension of the Implementation of Micro-based PPKM, which is expanded to be implemented not only in Java and Bali.
This is as expressed by the Deputy Chief of Police for East Java, Brigadier General Pol. Drs. Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo, after holding the Analysis and Evaluation (Anev) at Rupatama Building, East Java Regional Police Headquarters together with Polres Jajar, Tuesday (9/3/21)
The Deputy Chief of Police also stated that currently in East Java, since the PPKM Mikro was implemented, it was very effective in reducing the spread of Covid-19.
From existing data to date, in East Java the status for the red zone is no longer there or zero percent and zero percent for the orange zone.
Meanwhile, the yellow zone status in East Java turns out to be able to green the East Java region by up to 76 percent.
For the green zone in East Java, it has experienced an increase of up to 37 percent.
This means that according to the Deputy of the East Java Regional Police, the implementation of PPKM Micro in East Java can have a positive impact.
However, according to the Deputy of the East Java Regional Police, even though the spread of Covid-19 in the East Java region has experienced a drastic decline, the tightening of supervision and control and justifiable operations on community activities will continue to be carried out.
In addition, the community must also follow the applicable regulations by implementing Health Protocols (Prokes).
"Even though the number of Covid-19 spread in East Java has decreased, I hope the public will continue to maintain and comply with health protocols, so that the Covid-19 case in East Java can end soon," concluded the Deputy Chief of Police of East Java.
