Meanwhile, in his speech, Pangdam V Brawijaya Maj. Gen. Suharyanto explained, today the TMMD opened simultaneously in several regions in East Java, apart from Bojonegoro in Bondowoso, Sumenep, and in Pacitan.
Bojonegoro is considered a strategic place, besides the budget is also the biggest project value, so as an award, the East Java Forkopimda is present in person.
In addition, TMMD is usually always programmed with synergy cooperation, between the TNI, Polri and Local Government, as well as elements of related stakeholders in the region.
Previously, the name ABRI went to the village, but after Polri separated, the name became TMMD, but actually the implementation in the field has not changed, it is still carried out by TNI personnel and Polri personnel, as well as local governments.
"I need to convey this, do not make this impression as if it were a program of the Indonesian National Army alone. In 1980, the name ABRI entered the village," he said.
Furthermore, Pangdam V Brawijaya emphasized that the planning for TMMD was carried out from the ground up.
It is hoped that the physical targets that are difficult to accomplish by local governments, due to remote areas and limited budgets, can be done by TMMD.
