Visiting Kampung Tangguh Semeru, East Java Police Chief Motivates Residents to Fight Covid-19

BromoToday.com - SURABAYA, Pangdam V Brawijaya Major General TNI Suharyanto together with the Head of East Java Regional Police, Inspector General of Police Dr.  Nico Afinta, accompanied by the Main Officer (PJU) of the East Java Regional Police and the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Kombes Pol Gatot Repli Handoko, Wednesday (3/2/2021) afternoon, visited Kampung Tangguh Semeru (KTS) on Jalan Maspati, RW 05, Bubutan Village, Bubutan District  , Surabaya.

 The arrival of Pangdam V Brawijaya and East Java Regional Police Chief was warmly welcomed by the Covid-19 Task Force.

 East Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol Dr.  Nico Afinta stated that the togetherness of the three pillars between Babinsa and Babinkantibmas and the community is the key in facing Covid-19.

 "The existence of these three pillars is very good as an effort to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19, so there is a need for communication and coordination," said Inspector General Nico Afinta, Head of East Java Regional Police, Wednesday (3/2/2021) afternoon.

 We (Polda Jatim) together with Pangdam V Brawijaya always travel to KTS to motivate the community.

 Apart from that, with a Government Program related to Vaccination, it is hoped that all residents in East Java will support the program.

 The village of Tanggung Semeru (KTS) in Maspati is quite good, starting from reforestation with hydroponix, isolation houses and catfish farming.

 "I, along with the Pangdam V Brawijaya, always go around the KTS. This is to motivate residents to continue fighting Covid-19 together," he added.

 Explained further, to stop the spread of Covid-19, the East Java Regional Police formed a tough village, Semeru.  As a means of handling Covid-19, together with us (Polda Jatim), the Provincial Government and Kodam V Brawijaya.

 "The formation of Kampung Tangguh Semeru is a means to cut off the spread of Covid-19. Together with East Java Forkopimda and residents to fight Covid-19 together," he explained.

 The East Java Regional Police Chief added, that whatever the activities of the residents, his party will fully support him.  In addition, the community is expected to improve the Health Protocol (Prokes).

 Not only that, that currently the government is also implementing PPKM (Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities).  This is to reduce Covid-19 cases.

 "Whatever the activities of the residents, we will fully support them. In addition, the community is expected to comply with the Prokes," he concluded.
