Probolinggo Police Chief AKBP Ferdy Irawan through the Probolinggo Police Traffic Section, AKP Purwanto Sigit to BromoToday.com, said that the distribution of free masks took place on Jalan Panglima Sudirman, Kraksaan District. This activity is an effort to break the chain of spreading Covid-19 in the Probolinggo Regency area.
"In addition to the distribution of masks, officers also socialized the importance of implementing health protocols (prokes) and New Habit Adaptation (AKB). We appeal to the public to reduce excessive activity outside the home," said AKP Purwanto Sigit.
According to him, the Probolinggo Police's Covid Hunter team is actively holding outreach in order to urge the public to improve personal and environmental hygiene and always implement 3M, namely wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining distance.
"We hope that this activity can increase public awareness in implementing health protocols in their daily activities. Because this is very important to do because the pandemic has not ended," he concluded.
