JAKARTA-- The 2021 TNI-Polri Leadership Meeting with the theme 'Based on Professionalism, Solidity, and Synergy of the Indonesian National Armed Forces is Ready to Support the Plenary Response to COVID-19 and National Economic Recovery in Maintaining Unity and National Unity Towards Advanced Indonesia' aims to consolidate ranks to oversee government policies ranging from escorting vaccinations to assisting economic recovery.
This was emphasized by TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto after the TNI-Polri Leadership Meeting at the Police Headquarters Rupatama, Jalan Trunojoyo, South Jakarta, Monday (15/2/2021).
The Commander emphasized that in accordance with President Jokowi's direction at the State Palace this morning, the TNI-Polri were asked to provide support in implementing health protocol discipline including supporting 3 T (Tasting, Tracing, Treatment), implementing micro-scale PPKM to supporting vaccination.
"The TNI-Polri meeting is a forum to unify attitudes and patterns of action, including strategies in supporting government policies in accordance with the orders of the President," said the TNI Commander.
Meanwhile, the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit, added that in this meeting, he also discussed how the TNI-Polri could help restore the national economy. For example, press Sigit, supervising the development of MSMEs in order to grow or increase national economic growth.
"Escorting labor-intensive national programs, be it infrastructure or other programs that we need to guard," said Sigit.
On the other hand, the National Police Chief said that the TNI-Polri in guarding the PPKM Micro program as an effort to reduce the rate of Covid-19 transmission had spread Babinsa and Bhabinkamtibmas as spearheads to the RT / RW level.
"It is hoped that you can really become a pioneer, in collaboration with Linmas, then the head of the RW or Lurah RT head to really be able to enforce the rules related to 3T (Testing, Tracing, Treatment) without forgetting the 3m program," said Listyo Sigit.
