Monitoring of public compliance patrols with health protocols in traditional markets, tourist objects and motorcycle taxi stands and others, as well as an effort to support the imposition of restrictions on micro-scale community activities (PPKM) in all villages / wards which have been in effect since 9 February 2021
"The implementation of micro-scale PPKM in all villages / sub-districts needs community support while adhering to health protocols. This is necessary to prevent an increase in positive cases of COVID-19," said the Head of Probolinggo Police, AKBP Ferdy Irawan at Kraksaan, Tuesday (16/02/2021 ).
According to Ferdy, during the weekend, people must stay at home in order to avoid crowds and prevent exposure to the corona virus.
"Preemptive efforts in the form of education and prevention by distributing thousands of masks that have been done, need support from the community in the form of awareness in implementing 5M," said Ferdy.
He said that during patrols and monitoring at markets and tourist objects, people still do not wear masks when doing activities outside the home.
"It was still found that people did not wear masks, officers immediately gave masks and directions regarding the importance of wearing masks to prevent themselves and others from being exposed to COVID-19," he said.
Since February 9, 2021, the Probolinggo Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force has decided to implement micro PPKM in villages / sub-districts with green, yellow, orange and red zones, in order to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19.
