Today, the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the East Java Regional Police stopped hundreds of passing motorists to sing the Indonesia Raya anthem and salute the red and white flag.
The driver of the sedan, Rizal said he saluted the police officers who held a procession of the flag honoring ceremony to commemorate the 76th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, by inviting the drivers.
"I salute the police officers who are always successful. Don't forget to wear a mask," said Rizal.
Director of Ditlantas Polda Jatim Kombes Pol M Latif Usman said that the process of stopping road users from singing the mandatory Indonesia Raya anthem was a small form of appreciation for the services of the predecessor heroes who fought for the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

Namely, the East Java Police Chief has distributed 76,000 pieces of red and white flags made by East Java MSMEs to the public for free.
