Malang Police Chief, Deploys Covid-19 Volunteers from Millennials

MALANG POLRES - Malang Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police (AKBP) Bagoes Wibisono gave directions to Covid-19 volunteers from millennials at the Sanika Satyawada building at the Malang Police Headquarters, Friday (6/8/2021).

 Bagoes said that with the presence of these volunteers, the National Police and the Health Service could be helped in inputting data during mass vaccination in Malang Regency.

 "I am grateful for the volunteers, because they really help us in accelerating vaccination in Malang Regency," said Bagoes.

 Bagoes said that the increase in the number of volunteers was in accordance with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jokowi, in order to accelerate vaccination in all provinces in Indonesia.

 "We ask these millennial children for help to help input data during vaccine implementation, because this is their future too," said Bagoes.

 Bagoes explained that currently there are around 148 volunteers, consisting of Stikes students, UMM and also from BLC volunteers.

 "They all take part, work together, work hand in hand in efforts to handle Covid-19 in Malang Regency," he said.

 Bagoes added, the target for mass vaccination in the future is 6,000 doses per day or even more as needed.

 "We are targeting six thousand doses of vaccine. Well, on the same day we mobilized these volunteers," concluded Bagoes.
