East Java Police Holds 5000 Dose of Independent Semeru Vaccination for Persons with Disabilities and ODGJ

SURABAYA,- Forkopimda East Java Governor of East Java, Pangdam V Brawijaya, Pangkoarmada II, Kapolda East Java, Kajati East Java, Kalanti East Java, Kabinda East Java, Deputy Chairperson of the East Java DPRD, Provincial Secretary and accompanied by Main Officials of East Java Police and Main Officials of Kodam V Brawijaya Tuesday (10/8/2021) morning checked the Merdeka Semeru Vaccination which was held at the Mahameru Building, East Java Police Headquarters.

 The vaccination, which was carried out at the East Java Regional Police Headquarters today, is targeted at 5,000 doses in all police ranks in East Java. With details, 2,700 for people with disabilities and 2,300 for accompanying families for people with disabilities.

 In addition, for the vaccination, which was held at the East Java Police Headquarters, 74 vaccinators were involved including, from the Bhayangkara Hospital of the East Java Police, 45 health workers, the Health Biddokkes, the East Java Police, 15 health workers, the Brimob Sat. , Dahlan Hospital 5 health workers and also assisted by personnel from Kodam V Brawijaya and from Koarmada II to the regional level.

 East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa, expressed his gratitude for the East Java Regional Police for initiating vaccinations for people with disabilities and people with mental disorders (ODGJ) with all East Java Police Stations. This is part of the breakdown of vaccination expansion for people with disabilities and ODGJ who use the sinopharm vaccine according to the direction of the Ministry of Health.

 "The Ministry of Health has specifically dedicated the sinopharm vaccine for people with disabilities and for people with mental disorders," said Khofifah Indar Parawansa, after reviewing vaccinations at the East Java Police Headquarters, Tuesday (10/8/2021) morning.

 "This format of service needs to be coordinated with SLB, Panti and parents, this synergy allows us to expand immunization coverage for people with disabilities with people with mental disorders in East Java," added Khofifah.

 On the 76th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, one of the things we want to prove to the Republic of Indonesia is the protection of health and the protection of public safety. One of them is the maximization of disability and ODGJ.

 Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Nico Afinta, East Java Police Chief said that the East Java Regional Police were in synergy with the entire East Java Forkopimda, present at today's event, Mrs. We carry out the programs delivered by the Governor of East Java.
