TNI-Polri Distribute 30,000 Food Packages for Solo Residents

SOLO - Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo distributed 30,000 emergency PPKM food packages for the people of Solo, Central Java (Central Java).

 The distribution of the basic food packages was carried out when they carried out a mass vaccination review at the Solo City Hall, Central Java, Saturday (17/7/2021). The Emergency PPKM assistance will target all residents whose economies are affected by the Covid-19 pandemic or the corona virus.

 "The government is also thinking about the affected communities, because of the Emergency PPKM situation, today we will distribute social assistance of approximately 30,000 food packages and approximately 147 tons of rice which will be distributed to the community by TNI-Polri colleagues," said Sigit when releasing the distribution the social assistance package.

 The four-star general hopes that with this distribution of social assistance the burden on the community can be reduced to meet the needs of daily life.

 "Hopefully this can help the community because of the restrictions on mobility," said the former Banten Police Chief.

 Meanwhile, the mass vaccination at Solo City Hall itself was created thanks to the collaboration between the Surakarta City Government, TNI, Polri in collaboration with Shopee. This activity carries the theme 'Fighting Together Against Covid-19'. Meanwhile, the vaccination target is 1,000 people
 public who have registered.

 Sigit also appreciates and is grateful for the enthusiasm of the people of Solo City to vaccinate. With the high public interest, said Sigit, the target of Herd Immunity or group immunity against the corona virus will soon be realized.

 "Thank you for the enthusiasm of the people of Solo in terms of participating in vaccination activities so that we hope this acceleration can be achieved soon. Therefore, for the community or volunteers, activists, students, who have the ability to become vaccinators or strengthen vaccination activities, please join," said the former Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.

 On the other hand, Sigit believes that with the cooperation of all elements of society, the rate of growth of the corona virus in the future will decrease. "The hope is that together we can immediately reduce the growth rate of Covid by limiting people's mobility. Therefore, let's work together in synergy, so that we can reduce the growth rate of Covid," concluded Sigit.
