TNI Commander and National Police Chief Review Vaccination at the Minhaajurrosyidiin Islamic Boarding School in East Jakarta

JAKARTA - TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo directly observed mass vaccination activities at Minhaajurrosyidiin Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), East Jakarta (Jaktim), Tuesday (13/7/2021).

 The mass vaccination was initiated by the DPP of the Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Institute (LDII) in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Health, TNI and Polri.

 Sigit appreciated the Islamic Boarding School and DPP LDII because they have played a role in conducting mass vaccinations for the community. According to Sigit, to create Herd Immunity or group immunity against Covid-19, collaboration with all elements of society is needed.

 "Thank you to the committee for carrying out this mass vaccination activity," said Sigit in his review.

 The former Police Chief of Criminal Investigation Department said that the target for vaccination at the Minhaajurrosyidiin Islamic Boarding School is 1,000 people per day and has started since June 14, 2021.

 "To date, 14,928 people have been vaccinated. Involving 60 vaccinators from the Health Service, TNI and Polri," said the former Banten Police Chief.

 Meanwhile, the TNI Commander reminded the event committee regarding the implementation of phase II mass vaccination. He also conveyed the Government's target of vaccinating two million per day.

 "This place is suitable because the circulation is good, open and the field is wide. We give motivation to the committee, by coming here to review activities," said Hadi on the same occasion.

 In addition to observing the Islamic Boarding School, the TNI Commander and the National Police Chief directly checked the mass vaccination activity at Atma Jaya University, Jakarta, which was organized by the Atma Jaya Alumni Association of UNIKA in synergy with the Atma Jaya UNIKA Foundation.

 This activity is organized
 since 7 July 2021. Vaccination targets are students and
 the general public as many as 1,000 people per day. Until today, the achievement of vaccination at Atma Jaya University is 3,805 people.
