When he arrived at Kanjuruhan Stadium, the Malang Police Chief was greeted by Aremania representatives with the chants of One Soul. Aremania also gave a souvenir in the form of shall Aremania with Jersey Arema bearing the name 'Bagoes' on the back of the Jersey.
"We have considered the commander as an honorary citizen of Malang and also an honorary citizen of Arema. Please accept our gift," said the Aremania representative, greeted by shouts of 'One Soul Greetings' from Aremania who also welcomed him.
In his speech, Bagoes said, the basic food packages were distributed to Aremania residents who were affected by Covid-19 when the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) was implemented in Malang.
"During a pandemic like this, everyone will be affected. The government understands and immediately responds by providing assistance. This is proof of the government's presence in the midst of society," said Bagoes.
Bagoes hopes that the assistance of the basic food packages can help ease the community.
"Hopefully this can help," said Bagoes.
The food packages distributed contained rice, cooking oil, sugar, eggs, coffee, instant noodles and tea.
