The deployment of troops in the context of implementing the Emergency PPKM was directly led by the Probolinggo Police Chief, AKBP Teuku Arsya Gaddafi, who was followed by hundreds of joint personnel from the 0820 Probolinggo Kodim, Probolinggo Police, Dishub, Civil Service Satpol and the Health Service.
In his remarks, the Probolinggo Police Chief said that this troop title ceremony was held to check the readiness of the personnel who will be on duty in the implementation of the Emergency PPKM later.
That this is related to the announcement issued by President Joko Widodo through the Presidential Secretariat on Thursday 1 July 2021, that the government has announced the Emergency PPKM to be implemented in Java and Bali, effective from 3 July to 20 July 2021.
He also said that this Emergency PPKM was a Humanitarian Operation to save the wider community. Emergency PPKM has been implemented in Probolinggo Regency starting at 00.00 WIB last night. Referring to the Instruction of the Governor of East Java, where Probolinggo Regency is treated the same as other regions in East Java.
"Consideration is the implementation of the Emergency PPKM in Probolinggo, in order to prevent high mobility which will lead to the Probolinggo area which will later cause a spike in the spread of Covid-19. I, as the Probolinggo Police Chief, invite all TNI-POLRI and Forkopimda ranks to always unite, work together and synergize with each other to support the government in order to prevent the spread of Covid 19, in order to realize a healthy Probolinggo towards a strong Indonesia," said the Police Chief.
One of the efforts that can be made to limit the mobility that enters the Probolinggo area, during the implementation of the Emergency PPKM, the Probolinggo Police established Monitoring and Blocking Posts at 2 (two) points, namely the southern route at the Leces Toll Exit and the eastern line at Paiton.
In addition to establishing the Monitoring and Insulation Post, the Probolinggo Police also maximized Yustisi Operation activities and continued to distribute masks and educate the public to apply the 5M health protocol and carry out vaccinations at Precision Vaccine Outlets in each sub-district, health center and Polsek.
"Implementation to the entire community, traders, tourist attractions, places of business and places of worship to understand and know about emergency PPKM activities and what are the restrictions. And in the implementation of the judicial operation, all regulations related to emergency PPKM must be completed, "explained the Police Chief.
After the deployment of the troops, a large-scale patrol was carried out and an appeal to the community in the context of implementing Emergency PPKM in the Probolinggo Regency area.
