Kabaharkam Police Invite the Community Together to Overcome Covid-19

East Java Deputy Chief of Police Brigadier General Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo, together with the Main Officer of the East Java Police, accompanied the Head of the Security Maintenance Agency (Kabaharkam) of the Indonesian National Police Headquarters (Police Headquarters) Commissioner General of Police Arief Sulistyanto, during a visit in Malang, in an effort to deal with COVID-19 , on Tuesday (27/7/2021).

 After holding a coordination meeting with Forkopimda Malang, at Malang City Hall. Kabaharkam Polri continued to provide Social Assistance (Bansos) to the Papuan Community in Malang, Arema, and the Malang City Transportation Service.

 Kabaharkam Polri Komjen Pol. Arief Sulistyanto said his visit to Malang City was in the context of the Amanusa Operation and provided assistance in implementing PPKM level 4, as well as reviewing the implementation of the management and prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 "Earlier, the Mayor has conveyed the steps that have been taken and I say they are extraordinary, the Mayor of Malang and the Forkopimda ranks are very collaborative in building synergy to save the community from the COVID-19 pandemic," he explained.

 Furthermore, the Kabaharkam Polri explained that the steps taken were very comprehensive, starting from handling problems that could speed up the process of overcoming COVID-19 in Malang City. And this is also supported by the awareness of the community to comply with health protocols, follow what is directed by the government to isolate, then provide medical assistance and social assistance, so that there are no obstacles in the implementation of this covid-19 response.

 "It is hoped that media colleagues will also help with what the local government has done, and this will be carried out simultaneously throughout Indonesia," he explained after giving social assistance to the people of Malang.

 "What I need to remind you that overcoming this pandemic is our shared responsibility. Covid-19 does not look at a person's status. He will attack anyone. Therefore, what we must emphasize to all citizens is to comply with health protocols. Starting from wearing masks, washing hands, keep your distance, avoid crowds and this must be encouraged throughout the community," said Komjen Pol Arief Sulistyanto.

 In addition, Kabaharkam Polri added, this response must be our shared responsibility.

 "It's not only the mayor's responsibility, it's not the responsibility of the Dandim and the Police Chief, but also all members of the community and all components of society, to work hand in hand, together to overcome this COVID-19," he concluded.
