Dozens of residents were arrested by a joint judicial prosecution operation consisting of the Lumajang Police, 0821 Kodim, Satpol PP, Dishub, and the Health Service who immediately went to trial on the spot.
Previously, residents who were caught by joint officers while carrying out patrols in the Lumajang area found residents hanging out in coffee shops and cafes and not implementing procedures such as wearing masks and maintaining distance.
Then the residents who violated the prokes were immediately transported using two police trucks to go to the Kutorenon Village Hall.
The data was collected that 11 people who violated the prokes underwent a trial on the spot by paying a fine of Rp. 50 thousand and the rest underwent social sanctions such as memorizing Pancasila and the anthem Indonesia Raya.
In addition, for about 25 violators, an antigen swab was performed, the results were all negative.
Lumajang Police Chief AKBP Eka Yekti Hananto Seno explained that the purpose of the trial at the location of the Prokes violation was none other than to provide an understanding of lessons for the residents of Lumajang Regency that in this emergency situation strict sanctions have been imposed, both social sanctions and fines.
"We are synergizing with the TNI, the District Court, the District Attorney, the Transportation Agency, and the Satpol PP to carry out judicial operations for the trial on the spot," he said.
So far, according to the Head of Police, Lumajang Regency continues to show a decrease in the mobility of residents, because residents are increasingly orderly.
"We are also intensively carrying out judicial operations in the morning, afternoon, evening and night. So far, the mobility level of residents has continued to decline and the level of citizen obedience has increased," explained Eka Yekti.
