Arriving at the location of Pangdam V Brawijaya Major General TNI Suharyanto, East Java Police Chief Inspector General Nico Afinta, and East Java Provincial Secretary Heru Tjahjono, accompanied by Main Officers of East Java Police and Mojokerto Regent, checked the blocking mechanism at the emergency PPKM post, Trowulan Mojokerto.
The East Java Regional Police Chief said that this was done because previously he had received information that at this blocking post many vehicles were still passing and crowded.
"After we checked, there were two things that came to our attention, namely the first for two-wheeled, four-wheeled vehicles and transport vehicles or pick ups and trucks. From these two things have been separated. What has been determined, such as a certificate from the office, a vaccine certificate, and a COVID-free certificate, both antigen and PCR, have gone well," he said.
Meanwhile, for vehicles that do not meet the requirements, they will be turned back to their place of origin in order to reduce community mobility.
"The second is, the trucks that carry mostly logistics materials, so this will be regulated with the mechanism of partially entering the toll road, so that this arterial road which is a national road can become smoother especially for private vehicles. So there is a good arrangement for the place and the time, it will also be divided at night," added Inspector General of Police Nico Afinta.
The East Java Police Chief also appeals to the people of East Java to understand the purpose of the emergency PPKM which has been regulated through the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) number 18 of 2021.
"Those that are not included in the essential and critical factors remain in his house. I ask for your help," said the East Java Regional Police Chief in front of the media crew.
Furthermore, the East Java Police Chief along with his entourage again checked the implementation of the inspection and distribution of masks to motorists who crossed the blocking post.
