East Java Forkopimda Checks Vaccination in Jombang to Realize Herd Immunity

East Java Forkopimda checks the implementation of the vaccination attack at the Indoor Tennis Building, Jalan Kusuma Bangsa, Jombang. A total of 2900 Jombang residents have been vaccinated today, Tuesday (20/7/2021).

 East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa, Brawijaya Military Commander V Major General Suharyanto, Commander of the Second Fleet Command (Pangkormada II) Rear Admiral TNI Iwan Isnurwanto, and East Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol Nico Afinta, and accompanied by East Java Kabinda Marsma TNI Rudy Iskandar, Provincial Secretary, Official The Head of the East Java Regional Police, the Main Officer of Kodam V/Brawijaya, Forkopinda Jombang and the Head of the Jombang Police carried out a check on the vaccination attack that took place at the Jombang Indoor Tennis Building.

 In the implementation of the vaccination which took place at the Indoor Tennis Building, as many as 2900 residents of Jombang had been vaccinated, it is hoped that the vaccination attack can run optimally, reaching 70 percent in order to form herd immunity in the East Java region.

 East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa said, currently East Java is still waiting for a continuous dropping of vaccines, so that in August herd immunity can be formed.

 "Currently we are waiting for a continuous dropping, a more massive dropping, so that the process of accelerating the realization of herd immunity at least 70 percent of East Java residents can be vaccinated, in August we hope that together we will give a gift on the 76th anniversary of independent Indonesia," said Governor of East Java.

 Pangdam V Brawijaya Major General TNI Suharyanto added that this vaccination campaign will continue to be carried out regularly, holidays will still be carried out, it is hoped that by aggressively carrying out vaccination attacks like this, East Java can soon achieve hard immunity.

 "70 percent of East Java's population is still around 18 million who have not been vaccinated, in the not too distant future they can be vaccinated. So for East Java, the implementation, planning, and so on are no problems, what we are waiting for is the availability of vaccines," he said. V Brawijaya.

 After checking the implementation of the vaccination attack, the East Java and Jombang Forkopimda groups continued to provide Social Assistance (Bansos) to residents living around the vaccination site.
