The East Java Regional Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Nico Afinta, said that in the implementation of the Covid-19 response, there were 3 things the government had done together with the TNI and Polri. First, the Implementation of Emergency PPKM, secondly the Justification Operation and the third Implementation of Vaccination.
"This program is called door-to-door vaccination, carried out jointly by 3 pillars, the provincial government, the TNI and the National Police with 29 ambulances, each containing 4 health workers," explained Inspector General Nico Afinta, East Java Police Chief, Wednesday (14/7/2021) morning .
Inspector General Nico added that the target for this door to door vaccination is people who have not been touched by the vaccination program, especially in rural areas.
"The mechanism is that the team will come to look for people and families who have not received the vaccine. Only show their KK and ID cards for data collection and then get vaccinated," he added.
This activity will continue until the stock of vaccines runs out, meanwhile for each team with one ambulance vehicle the target is 50-100 vaccines.
"Hope to the public that this vaccination is part of a large vaccine program. There are already vaccinators in all regions, both in villages, health centers and vaccine outlets owned by the Provincial Government, TNI and Polri, let's register and implement the vaccine immediately," he continued.
This is part of the government's efforts to deal with Covid-19, where covid is still around us all. It can be said that the covid-19 virus whizzes like a wild bullet that knows no place, background and age, anyone can be shot if the community does not protect it with a discipline shield, obey the 5M Prokes and vaccinations
"Of course, if we are not disciplined, we will be affected. I urge the public to continue to comply with the 5M program and implement the vaccine, "Come on, let's check vaccines here, strong and always healthy (let's get vaccines so we are always strong and healthy)," he concluded
Meanwhile, 29 ambulances were deployed to carry out door-to-door vaccinations, 10 units from the National Police, 4 units from the TNI, 5 units from the East Java Health Office and 10 units from the Surabaya Health Office. Meanwhile, each ambulance vehicle is manned by 4 health workers including Vaccinations, Screening Officers, P-Care Admin Officers and Drivers with completeness in the form of Cool Box vaccines and Emergency Kits for AEFI.
