This was conveyed by Sigit when reviewing the mass vaccination carried out in collaboration with the Police in the context of 30 years of service for the 1991 Police Academy alumni or Battalion Bhara Daksa, together with BEM Nusantara, BEM throughout Indonesia, DEMA for Islamic Religious Universities, BEM PTMI, DEMA PTAI, Permikomnas, and Indonesian National Student and Activist Alliance at Bhayangkara University, Bekasi City, Saturday (31/7/2021).
"Of course, I really appreciate the cooperation of colleagues who are members of the BEM alliance, and especially colleagues who are members of the Bhara Daksa Battalion who today have helped implement and initiated acceleration related to mass vaccination activities which are one of the Government's strategic programs in order to make efforts acceleration of Herd Immunity," said Sigit in his speech.
In addition, Sigit also reviewed the mass vaccination organized by the DPC of the Indonesian National Student Movement
(GMNI) East Jakarta collaborated with alumni of the 1991 Police Academy, at Pulogadung Sports Center.
The former Banten Police Chief hoped that the synergy between the National Police and elements of youth or students in handling the Covid-19 pandemic, in the future, must be carried out throughout Indonesia.
According to Sigit, to suppress the growth rate of the corona virus in Indonesia, strong synergy and cooperation are needed between the Government and all elements of society.
"Therefore, of course we are very happy that collaboration can be carried out and this does not stop here, it will continue to be carried out in the region. We are certainly very happy to see younger students ready and willing to become volunteers with their abilities. these activities," said this former Police Criminal Investigation Officer.
On the other hand, Sigit also appreciated the Bhara Daksa Battalion for holding mass vaccinations with students. According to him, the current form of service is to accelerate the target of group immunity.
"All Bhara Daksa Battalion colleagues, thank you, on this 30th anniversary, colleagues, fill in activities that are really awaited by the whole community. Where we can deal with this Covid-19 Pandemic well," said Sigit.
Meanwhile, Sigit reminded all students and vaccination participants to continue to apply health protocols (prokes) in their daily lives, even though they have been injected with vaccines.
"Fellow students who have been vaccinated, I always remind you to keep implementing health protocols. Because we have to take good care of ourselves, not to infect or get infected, therefore health protocols must still be implemented. Even though we have all been vaccinated," said Sigit.
To note, the mass vaccination which was held with the BEM alliance at Bhayangkara University, Bekasi, targeted 1,100 people to be injected with the Sinovac vaccine. There were 81 vaccinator officers involved in this activity, consisting of 60 Health Office vaccinators, 10 volunteers, and 11 Polri vaccinators.
Meanwhile, the mass vaccination organized by GMNI with the National Police at Pulogadung Sports Center, East Jakarta, targets 1,000 people to be injected with the vaccine. There are 39 vaccinator officers involved in this activity, consisting of 14 Polri vaccinators and 25 volunteers.
In addition to mass vaccination, in these two activities, the National Police Chief also provided social assistance (bansos) to the community. The goal is to help ease the burden on residents who are affected by the economy during the Covid-19 pandemic.
