TNI Commander and National Police Chief Review Mass Vaccination of Seafarers to Tanjung Priok Port Workers

JAKARTA - TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo reviewed mass vaccinations at Tanjung Priok Port, Wednesday (23/6/2021).

 This vaccination was attended by 5,000 people who are maritime communities. "Vaccinators from the TNI-Polri and the Health Office target sailors, truck drivers, loading and unloading workers and port workers," Sigit said in a written statement.

 The former Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police emphasized that this mass vaccination program was carried out to suppress the spread of COVID-19, in addition to implementing the Micro PPKM. "To stop the spread of COVID-19 by implementing micro PPKM and mass vaccination," he said.

 In addition to reviewing the mass vaccination program at Tanjung Priok Port, the two TNI-Polri leaders also reviewed the Micro PPKM in Marunda Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta.

 During this visit, the TNI Commander and the National Police Chief had a dialogue with the Sector Police, Danramil, Babinsa, Bhabinkamtibmas and village health officers regarding the safety of residents who had just returned home, as well as handling residents exposed to COVID-19.
