This activity was attended by the Main Officials (PJU) of the National Police Headquarters, carried out offline and online alias virtual with a total of 1,136 participants.
In his directive, the National Police Chief emphasized that the Musrenbang is the right momentum for the National Police to conduct consolidation in order to stabilize the direction of Polri's development and support national development programs in efforts to recover the economy and structural reforms.
"The government has held the 2021 National Musrenbang (Musrenbangnas) which is a planning mechanism to bring together proposals or needs (bottom up planning) with what is programmed by the government (top down planning)," said the National Police Chief.
Planning, continued the National Police Chief, is like a chef in cooking delicious dishes before serving to satisfy customers. For this reason, through this Musrenbang, the four-star general hopes to produce various kinds of constructive suggestions and inputs to be taken into consideration in determining the direction of Polri's development as well as in the framework of assisting the government's economic recovery efforts.
The National Police Chief also emphasized that the main focus of the government's 2022 work plan is to control Covid-19 by accelerating vaccination towards herd immunity coupled with health system reform by increasing health security and resilience.
"The year 2022 is expected to be the first year for Indonesia to begin to escape the pressures of the Covid pandemic and is a key year for stabilizing economic recovery," said the former Police Criminal Investigation Officer.
On the other hand, the National Police Chief reminded the ranks that the transformation to a Precise Police is a continuous program, not limited to only 100 days of work programs, but also through to Phase II and Phase III Strategic Work Programs (PKS).
So far, within the framework of the transformation road map, Polri has managed to gain 86.5 percent of public trust, while 82.3 percent of public satisfaction with Polri's services is based on Alvara's survey. In addition, the National Police has received 139 integrity zone awards in the past five years.
