Kasal and Kakor Sabhara Review the Implementation of Vaccination for Tanjung Perak Port Workers

The Navy Chief of Staff (Kasal) Admiral Yudo Margono, and the Head of the Samapta Bhayangkara Corps (Kakor Sabhara) Inspector General of Police Nanang Avianto, representing the National Police Chief, Thursday (24/6/2021) made a visit to Prapat Kurung Field, Perak Surabaya, in the context of The TNI/Polri vaccination campaign supports the Indonesian President's Program related to the handling of COVID-19 in economic centers.

 East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa, Military Commander V/Brawijaya Major General Suharyanto, Deputy Head of East Java Regional Police Brigadier General Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo, and Commander of the Armed Forces II Admiral of the TNI Dr. Iwan Isnurwanto, accompanying the visit of Kasal and Kakor Sabhara in reviewing the implementation of vaccinations, Surabaya residents, especially Surabaya Tanjung Perak Port workers.

 The activity began with a review of the implementation of vaccination accompanied by Karumkit RSPAL Dr. Ramelan, Forkopimda of East Java Province, and the Surabaya Tanjung Perak Port Authority. The vaccination review starts from the stages of Screening, Registration, Vaccination, to Observation while still implementing health protocols.

 Meanwhile, the target achievement of 1200 people from the general public, residents of Surabaya, and Tanjung Perak Port workers can be vaccinated. The vaccination, which took place at Prapat Kurung Field, Perak, Surabaya, used the astrazeneca vaccine, which was divided into two waves in its implementation.

 Meanwhile, TNI Admiral Yudo Margono during his visit said the target this afternoon was 1200 people, this has been accomplished around 750.

 "Hopefully we support the one million vaccine program in a day, earlier what was conveyed there were 100 points of ports where vaccine attacks were also carried out, because this is an international port of course as an economic support, this is also very important because there are also places for foreign ships and ships to enter and leave. us," said Kasal accompanied by the East Java Forkopimda.

 "So this port also needs workers, then we need to carry out vaccines for crane operators and vehicle operators, loading and unloading workers and their families," Kasal added.

 TNI Admiral Yudo Margono hopes that the implementation of this vaccination campaign can be followed by the port worker community, so that the economic center will not stop.

 "Don't let the port, which is an economic center, be disturbed because of the Covid-19 outbreak, hopefully they will all participate in the vaccine and are healthy, so that the economic center will not stop." Kasal concluded after visiting the vaccination raid.
