On this occasion, Major General TNI Suharyanto explained. What stands out in the implementation of the emergency PPKM is the limitation of community crowds, restaurant operating hours may only be open until 17.00, after that you can buy take away until 21.00.
"This applies in every region, including in East Java. Then the three of us carried out initial checks to see and socialize first, don't wait until after it was announced by the government, the people of East Java or the City of Surabaya were surprised," said Pangdam V Brawijaya
Emergency PPKM is carried out for 2 weeks, starting on July 3, until July 21, 2021.
"Hopefully in the next 2 weeks, it will drop drastically. Now the next step after the 21st will be determined by the government," added the Commander.
While conducting this Emergency PPKM socialization, the East Java Police Chief had a dialogue with street vendors, by appealing to the spread of Covid-19 which still haunts us all, but the Kapolda did it in East Javanese.
"Sepurane, please, close the department, regarding the COVID-19 case, (sorry, mas, we'll close first, because the spread of COVID-19 is still high)," said the Kapolda while delivering the Emergency PPKM socialization while asking traders to close their stalls.
"I see that people have started to comply, and we hope that this can be implemented throughout East Java, so that our efforts in controlling crowds, then the existence of public places that invite these crowds can follow the rules," said the East Java Police Chief.
"For restaurants, malls, and places of worship, we ask the public to obey them. The goal is one, we can all avoid Covid," the Regional Police Chief appealed to the public to understand and do.
Furthermore, the Kapolda conveyed the results of judicial operations that had been carried out throughout East Java, there were many people who had been issued with reprimands, prosecutions and written letters.
In addition, the East Java Police Chief has also opened hundreds of vaccination outlets throughout East Java, and thousands of people have also been vaccinated.
"As for the results, we average all of East Java, there are 2500 activities. As for vaccination, today we have 409 outlets open, and we have reached the target of approximately 23 thousand, at four o'clock this afternoon, and now it is estimated that they have arrived. 50 thousand. We will continue to do this for the vaccination as well," concluded the Suroboyo native general.
